Privacy Policy

What we receive when you visit or contact us, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Effective

01Who this policy covers

IsoData is an unincorporated business initiative based in California, United States. This policy covers personal information handled by the team operating our website when you visit, ask about a project or express interest in contributing.

It does not replace the terms for personal data entrusted to us under a customer project. The relevant agreement and applicable law determine our role and instructions for that data. If your request concerns a customer’s records, we will help identify the appropriate contact and assist as required.

For a privacy question or request, see our contact page for inquiry availability.

02Information we receive

  • Project inquiries. The form requires your first name, email address and project message. Last name, company, job title and areas of interest are optional. We also receive any details you choose to include in follow-up correspondence.
  • Contributor introductions. If you contact us about contributing, we receive your contact details, interests, availability and any work links or other information you choose to include.
  • Technical information. Requests to the website pass through hosting infrastructure, which may record IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, request times, referrers, response codes and security events.
  • Website analytics. Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits, referrers, browser and device types, and approximate location to help us understand and improve the website.
  • Request records. We may keep the information needed to verify and respond to a privacy request and record how it was handled.

The public site has no customer account, payment form or file-upload field. Do not put passwords, patient data, identity documents, confidential client records or other sensitive information in the inquiry form. Share only information you have permission to provide.

03How we use information

We use inquiry details to respond, understand the work, arrange discussions and prepare a possible engagement. Contributor information is used to discuss relevant opportunities. Technical information supports delivery of the website, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.

We may also use information to handle requests, comply with legal duties and establish or defend legal claims. We do not treat an inquiry or contributor introduction as permission to publish your materials or use them to train AI models.

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell website inquiry information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

04How inquiries reach us

The contact form sends the fields you enter to our website’s server when you select Send inquiry. The server validates the submission. When online delivery is configured, it forwards the inquiry to Formspree for processing and delivery to our team.

If online delivery is unavailable or receipt cannot be confirmed, the form shows an error and keeps your entries on the page so you can try again later. A timeout can occur after a provider receives a message; an error is not a guarantee that no copy was received.

05Who may receive information

Information may be handled by the people on our team who need it for the purposes above and by providers supporting website hosting, traffic measurement, inquiry delivery and business email.

  • Hosting. Hosting infrastructure processes web requests and operational or security information needed to deliver the site.
  • Analytics. Vercel processes visit data for aggregate traffic reports. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation for its data collection and handling practices.
  • Form delivery. When enabled, Formspree processes the submitted inquiry fields, the form’s source label and, when available, a referrer URL from the same website origin. Its processing is described in Formspree’s privacy policy.
  • Email. Business email providers process messages, attachments and delivery metadata when you correspond with us.

We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet a legal obligation, address misuse, protect rights or respond to legal proceedings. If ownership of the business changes, information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate notice; a change of ownership does not itself authorize unrelated uses.

Following a link to another website takes you to that provider’s service. Its privacy policy governs information you provide there.

06Cookies and tracking choices

The website includes Vercel Web Analytics. It uses a hash derived from incoming requests to distinguish visits, with visitor sessions discarded after 24 hours, rather than third-party cookies. We do not send inquiry form fields as analytics events.

We do not include advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking. Fonts and artwork are served with the site, and the application does not save inquiry drafts in browser local storage.

Hosting and security infrastructure may still process technical request data. Our current site does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Because we do not sell or share website information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no such activity on this site for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of.

If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and provide the choices or consent mechanism required before using it.

Our Cookie Policy explains browser storage, provider limits and your browser choices in more detail.

07Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes it was collected for, including an active inquiry, a relevant opportunity, agreed project administration or a legal requirement. The appropriate period depends on the conversation’s status, the type of information, applicable obligations and any need to resolve a dispute.

We will delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes. Provider logs and backups may follow separate deletion cycles. A request to delete information may have exceptions, such as records we must preserve by law.

No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please use the public form for a high-level introduction and agree an appropriate channel before sending restricted project data. If you think you sent sensitive information by mistake, contact us.

See Security for website safeguards and how to report a concern.

08Your choices and requests

You can decline optional form fields, choose not to send an inquiry, or ask us to stop contacting you about an opportunity. You can also request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have provided. See our contact page for inquiry availability.

Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent where processing depends on it, or complain to a regulator. California rights, where applicable, include knowing, correcting or deleting personal information, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain uses of sensitive information and receiving equal treatment when exercising those rights.

We will assess requests under applicable law and explain any relevant exception. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or an agent’s authority, but please do not send an identity document unless we arrange a suitable method. We do not retaliate for making a privacy request.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you can reply to ask for review and may contact the appropriate privacy regulator. California residents can find information at the California Privacy Protection Agency.

09Visitors outside the United States

IsoData operates from California. Information you send may be handled in the United States and in locations used by our service providers. Those locations may have different privacy laws from your own.

10Children’s information

The website is aimed at business contacts and potential expert contributors, not children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through these channels. If you believe a child has supplied information, see our contact page for inquiry availability.

11Changes and contact

We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice and any additional notification required by law. If a new use requires consent, continuing to browse the site will not substitute for that consent.

For questions about this policy or your information, see our contact page for inquiry availability.
