Expert application
Application Terms
What you agree to when you apply to be an IsoData Expert.
Effective
01What these terms cover
IsoData is an unincorporated business initiative based in California, United States. In these terms, “IsoData,” “we” and “us” refer to the team operating this website. These Application Terms apply when you apply to be an IsoData Expert through this website.
They sit alongside our website Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They do not set pay, project terms or any working relationship; a separate written agreement covers those if you are selected for a project.
02Honest answers
Your answers, resume and links must be true and your own. False statements can end your application or any later engagement.
03Using AI tools
You may use AI tools to prepare your application. Do not use them to invent experience. You are responsible for everything you submit.
Skills assessments do not allow AI tools or outside help. Client projects set their own rules on AI use, and each project says what is allowed before you start.
04Your materials
You keep ownership of what you submit, including your resume, links, code and answers. You give IsoData a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy and review it to evaluate your application, contact you and handle legal claims.
IsoData does not publish your materials, sell them, use them in any product or use them to train AI models.
05Material you must not send
Do not submit anything you are not allowed to share. That includes a current or former employer’s code or documents, a client’s data, and task content from any AI-data platform. Do not send passwords, identity documents or patient information.
06Assessments
Assessment questions and materials are IsoData’s confidential material. Do not copy, post or share them. Take an assessment alone and without AI tools or outside help, under the rules it shows before you start. Clear proof of AI use ends your application for that position.
07No offer of work
Applying is not an offer of work or employment and does not promise any work. IsoData may decline any application for any lawful reason and may close a position at any time.
Expert work happens on client projects and is paid per accepted task, under each project’s written terms, including its weekly minimum. There is no guaranteed project, task volume, hours or pay. See the pay and work terms.
08Emails and electronic records
We email you about your application. These emails are needed to run the process. Other emails, such as news of new positions, are sent only if you tick the separate box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
You agree to receive notices and sign electronically; ticking the boxes on the application form is your signature. With your application we record the version of these terms (by date), the exact notices and tick boxes you saw, and when you agreed. You can ask for a copy at any time.
09What these terms do not include
These terms contain no arbitration clause, class or jury waiver, ownership transfer, pay terms, tax terms or non-compete. If you are selected for a project, those subjects are set out in a separate written agreement for you to review before you sign.
10Equal opportunity and adjustments
IsoData considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other protected trait.
If you need an adjustment to apply or to take any step, such as more time or another format, ask us. We will not ask why, and asking never counts against you.
11Questions and changes
For questions or concerns about your application, contact us and we will try to resolve them informally.
If we change these terms, we will update the date on this page. The version you agreed to stays on record with your application.
